It's kinda hard to see in this picture, but this is the first package that arrived that was addressed to Mr. R. D. Fix! It was a present from Great Uncle John and Great Aunt Kristen (my dad's brother and his wife). He was, as you can see from the pictures, THRILLED to receive his own mail and couldn't wait to open it and see what it could be!
Here he is ripping into the wrapping paper. To those who are interested, it was a beautiful and SOFT knit blanket. But of course we forgot to get a picture of that part...
