Christmas is Dead

Remember our 'perfect' Christmas tree? Apparently if you don't water them, trees do not stay perfect.
Thankfully my mom helped me take down all our Christmas clutter treasures last week. Just a few needles on the ground.

That is hilarious.
I'm glad your Mom was able to help you. It took Nick and I an entire day to get our house un-Christmas-ized..and that was with no kids in the house!!! (We had purposely left them at my parents on New Year's Day night so we could have the next day to clean up the house...and it took forever!!!)

On a side note...I guess because our tree was fresh cut, it still looked AMAZING even WEEKS after we had stopped watering it. When we put it out on the curb on Jan. 15th, it had only been out there 10 min. before some mystery person took it from our curb. Nick and I are dying to know what they are going to use it for?!!? ;) But it really did still look amazing -- even for being without water for 2-3 weeks!!!

Hey Rachel! I'm glad you found my blog from Mandy's! Congratulations to you, too, on your baby coming! I'll add you to my reading list so I can keep up with what's going on with you guys! Good luck with the potty training too(now or later). I was hoping to potty train Evi before baby #2 comes, but she seems seriously uninterested, and as my belly grows and energy decreases, I don't know if I'm up for it! Aaah, the joy of kids!
