On February 9th, we went to the Hathaways to hang out with Aiden, Sophie and Clip for the day. Although we enjoyed playing with all the kiddies, the true motivation for this visit was to give Annie and Rachel a chance to have grown-up conversation and get out of our respective houses!
This was the first time that the boys really seemed to acknowledge each other. After Rock tried to eat Clip's sleeve, Clip patted him on the head.
When we went to the church playground Sophie brought along her most important accessory -- a 'necklace' that contained the long-dead remains of a large bee and a large spider.
Aiden on the slide.
Gotta love the hat. Thanks Hathaways for having us over to play! We had a blast.

Yes, we're still in the stage of grabbing various clothing articles (or facial features) of our friends.
I love Sophie's "necklace."
For a minute there I thought that the name of this blog entry was about the soul singer Donny Hathaway. How cool would it be to have had a play date with Donny and his children?
