Water Guns

You may recall that Patty and I grew up across the street from each other. Although she was older than me... old enough to babysit the Brockman girls and change a few of my diapers.You may also recall that Patty came to visit right after Rock was born. She and her daughter Trixie go to our church, but her visit was special because she brought along her mom, Eleanor, who now lives in West Virginia.Eleanor gave Rock perhaps the coolest gift he’s ever received. A pair of water guns.He and Addy put them to good use.Addy was a very good sport considering that Rock got her completely soaked in a matter of minutes and she could only operate the water gun by squeezing it with both thumbs – a feat she could only accomplish while pointing the gun directly at her own face. Whether or not she was being held, Louisa snoozed through the whole visit.
