So, we noticed that Louisa had gained some weight since her two week appointment. She was living out every girls dream to have a fat face and chunky thighs.
Then her 1-month appointment got delayed by two weeks! By the time it rolled around on Thursday, we were DYING to find out how much she had gained. Would she be over 8 lbs so I could finally put her in the Bjorn? Did she really weigh enough to get out of Newborn diapers and into Size 1?!
Uh. Yes. The answer was definitely yes. In four weeks, Louisa went from the 10th percentile at 6 lbs. 6.5 oz. to the 75th percentile at 10 lbs. 13.5 oz!!! She also went from 20 to 22 inches in length. We were shocked. Our baby girl pulled a Rock (he also gained a lb. a week in his first month)! No wonder the preemie clothes were getting so tight. It must be all the pretzels she's eating.*
*Disclaimer: Louisa is not in fact eating pretzels. Rock just left these on the floor next to her 'in case she got hungry.'

She DOES look SO MUCH different than the last time I saw her! WOW!
Tell her to slow down!!!! I thought our babies might weigh about the same when I delivered...but I pray to God I don't have a 10+ pounder!!! :)
Way to go Louisa on catching up with your brother and graduating to the Bjorn and size 1 diapers and so many other things!!!!
Can't wait to see her again!
Love,

STOP, Louisa! Slow down! I'll be there in just 10 days and I want to see you before you get too too big. Of course, you'll still be as beautiful as ever.
She has already changed so much. She no longer has the brand newborn look. She's "awake."
I like the new page topper picture and I just love seeing Rock's massive watch in every picture.
WE CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL!!! I don't know if I'll sleep tonight.
I have been following your blog in my reader and haven't always gotten the chance to post, but I have to say Louisa is seriously gorgeous - I am in love with her! As soon as baby boy Merson arrives we are making that playdate happen!!!
Gotta love the chunk. She may be 10 lbs., but she still seems like just a little bit of a thing. Thanks for coming over Friday-- it was so good to finally all hang out!
