Usually, when we go to the Summer Fellowship Gathering, we spend a lot of time on the beach.
But this year there were a lot of rainy and cloudy days. This made us all (especially those of us with cute aviator sunglasses) a little grumpy.
So we spent a lot of time just hanging out at our beach houses. The kids (minus Jay who fell asleep) watched Veggie Tales.
The grown-ups played Shang-Hai Rummy (or Moonshine Rummy as Marta calls it).
We also did a lot of sitting around and talking.
And a lot of picture taking. Here are all the current "babies" of the group.
Here's the best family picture we got... Rock was not interested in posing.
So we got a substitute baby to take a picture with us. He was a little heavy, but awful fun. Yes, I'm in this picture, that's my arm reaching out on the right.

Can't wait to hear all about your beach week. Great pics and I especially appreciate how Kelly snuck in that one with all the babies. Looks like a blast-- miss you!
