IKEA

A couple weeks ago, we went to the grand re-opening of IKEA's Marketplace area. Apparently they had been remodeling it.
Rock, Aunt Zuni (not pictured at all in this post - sorry Zuni!) and I got up way too early for a Saturday morning and stood in line in the hot sun to be among the first people inside. And why would we do such a thing?
To get a $25 gift card of course!!!! I had been looking at a new coffee table that was only $20 so this made it FREE! We also got a new roll of white paper for Rock to color.
While there, Rock found this "fridge-a-tur" (aka cabinet).
We put Zuni's iced coffee in it to stay cool. Hilarious.
Towards the end of our trip, we tried out the big-boy beds. After spending some time talking him into trying the first one, he wanted to try them all.
And he insisted on taking off his shoes and getting under the covers for the full experience. I think we might be ready to make the crib-to-bed transition really soon!

Are these pictures from the Nikon? They look so nice and clear!
Love those two pics in the big boy bed... are you guys thinking about moving him into one?

Erin loves to try all the beds, too. I don't think we'll be switching her anytime soon though because she doesn't stay in for more than 2 seconds and I'm not going down THAT road just yet.

Good luck on the crib-to-bed transition!

That would be reason enough for ME to get up that early!!! :)
So do we get to see the coffee table?

By the way, Rock's hair looks really blonde in these posts! Cute!

Okay, that first picture just cracks me up. It doesn't even look like Rock. Actually, something about the second picture doesn't quite look like Rock to me, either, but it is very cute, nonetheless.

And what a fun idea for him to try out the big boy beds. I love that he wanted to take his shoes off and get under the covers. Good luck with that transition.
